THE NEWS IN REVUE, the Emmy Award-winning musical political satire troupe, kicked off its summer performance season at their new Pittsfield venue on Opening Night, Saturday, June 30 to a full house.

Hailed “A delight,” by The New York Times and “Very clever,” by WNBC-TV, THE NEWS IN REVUE is written and created by Nancy Holson, writer/director of the Off-Broadway hit musical BUSH WARS. Created in 1992, THE NEWS IN REVUE has performed continuously in various cities throughout the country and has won five Emmy Awards for its series of PBS specials, two of which were for Ms. Holson’s writing.
