New Lenox Coach

The Lenox girls' basketball team has a new coach that, we're guessing, will bring an old flavor.

Brian Cogswell, the Lenox athletic director, said last night that Nicole Patella, an assistant with the team last year and the daughter of former coach Fred Lafave, will take over the team next year. Lafave had coached the team for the past 13 years and a total of 17 years. During his career with Lenox, coaching both boys and girls, he won a state record 628 games.
