'office' notes
This week's "Office" episode felt ... a little lacking, to be honest. It felt inconsistent and choppy, and it felt like the editing was just off somehow. It almost seemed as if no one involved knew what to do with the full-hour time slot anymore. Which is sad, because I've always said "The Office" is a show that really needs an hour.
Still, there were some great moments -- Pam and Jim at Schrute Farms; Andy catching the stray cat for Angela; Jim's stairwell confession to Dwight. Even Michael's telemarketing second job, which hit home for me because I've been there.
The show goes back to its regular half-hour format this week, I believe, and I'm hoping the compressed time slot will add new energy. Plus, it's called "Local Ad," which offers endless opportunities for hilarity -- could it be Michael's big chance at stardom?

I agree with your critique of last week's show. I'm looking forward to the half-hour episodes being back this week. Quality is more important than quantity, eh?
Also, I can't believe I forgot to tell you but I really think I actually did forget! I'm going to The Office convention in Scranton this upcoming weekend! I'm signed up for four cast meet-and-greets, and will be bringing the camera to document all that is Scranton. Clearly, I'll be sharing it all with you (and you have the green light to include any photos or anecdotes in your blog, of course).
See ya! ~Kerry

yeah, here's hoping the half-hour shows will inject some inspiration.
you did mention you and some coworkers were thinking of going to the convention -- i'm so, so jealous!!
since i'm coming off vacation, i just can't justify spending so much money right now, or you can bet amd and i would be there with the $250 all-access passes, heh.
but thank you so much for sharing your convention experience with "TV personality"! i'll be living vicariously through you, so i can't wait to see your photos and read your account of the weekend ...
